Description

This no-bake banana pudding combines ripe bananas, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream into a layered, creamy dessert. Quick to assemble in under 15 minutes and perfect for any occasion, it’s a flavorful and crowd-pleasing classic.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups milk, whole or 2%
3 packages vanilla pudding mix or 1 homemade custard base
6 medium ripe bananas
2 cups heavy whipping cream or 2 cups coconut cream (for a dairy-free option)
1/4 cup sugar, adjust as needed

Instructions

Slice ripe bananas and chill in an airtight container.
In a large bowl, mix milk, vanilla pudding, and sugar until the mixture is thickened. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold into the chilled pudding mixture.
In a glass bowl, layer the pudding and chilled banana slices, compressing each layer slightly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the pudding is firm to the touch.

Notes

Use super ripe bananas with brown speckles for enhanced sweetness.
Chilling the pudding base helps prevent sogginess.
Top with freshly grated nutmeg for extra flavor.
Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before serving.
